Bumbu Restaurant China Square Central

Bumbu Restaurant China Square Central: The old office recently had a department dinner at Bumbu Restaurant at Kandahar Street to celebrate a fairly big milestone. Kampong Glam is a great place to go to at night, with lots of people on the streets and a warm, laid-back feel. We were seated on the second storey of the shophouse. Although Bumbu is meant to serve Thai and Indonesian food, the interioir is extremely local, with pintu pagars, carved screens and old embossed mirrors used to decorate the room.

CoCo Ichibanya Singapore

CoCo Ichibanya Singapore:The branch in Silvercord Center TST is always full. As this one was opened in Kwun Tong, I finally gotta try this one. Curry rice ranged from HK$60-90 with an extra of $15-25 for 2-4 side orders from salad, soup, dessert and a drink (i.e. $20 for 3 side orders for a salad, dessert plus a drink, or $25 for 4 side orders).

The curry is very aromatic and quite spicy even though I asked for a degree 1 hot (highest 6). The rice is pretty nice too and quite a big portion.

But the September is passing and the rumors have been false about the release date of the much awaited iPhone. This is the latest buzz that Apple will release the much-awaited iPhone 5 in the first week of October and maybe it is confirmed that will release on October 04, 2011.

iPhone 5 Unveiling Case

iPhone 5 Unveiling Case: All iPhone 5 Case Leaks Came from One Missing Prototype: Lost iPhone 5 Prototype Source Of Leaked Case Designs? A cornucopia of Chinese iPhone 5 Cases: The new iPhone that Apple is expected to announce on Oct. 4 is already on the shopping list of many BlackBerry and Android users. Research from InMobi, an independent mobile ad network, found that 41 percent of mobile users in North America and Canada plan to buy the new iPhone.

iPhone 5 Demand High Ahead of UnveilingThe study found that more than half of BlackBerry users polled are planning to switch to the iPhone 5, and some 27 percent of Android owners are willing to do the switch, alongside 51 percent of current iPhone users. If these figures prove to be true, it could be the most successful phone launch for Apple to date.

The missing prototype is said to have been enclosed in a case to disguise it as a current-generation iPhone 4–which brings to mind the iPhone 4 prototype acquired by Gizmodo that was camouflaged as an iPhone 3GS. How Apple achieved that with the iPhone 5 supposedly wider and longer than the current iPhone 4 is a point to ponder.
