The 22 Senator-judges on Tuesday, May 29, handed down their verdict on Chief Justice Renato Corona Impeachment Trial related to betrayal of public trust for failing to disclose his true wealth in his Statements of Assets, Liabilities and Net worth (SALN) as required under the Constitution - and 20 of them found Chief Justice Corona GUILTY!

Chief Justin Renato Corona now becomes the first high-ranking official in Philippine history to be removed from office via the method prescribed by the Constitution.
